Amity Foundation is seeking an Employment Navigator in Los Angeles to deliver case management, career coaching, and job development for justice-involved participants in the HiRE program.

The role focuses on connecting participants with employers, training, and supportive services, with a goal of sustainable self-sufficiency and successful job placement. A hybrid work setup may apply with some remote work days.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field OR equivalent two-year experience with case management/workforce development.
• Experience in employment services or with justice-involved populations is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and data-entry skills.
• Must be willing to drive and meet program partners in the community.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive case management, career coaching, and employment placement services to participants.
• Conduct eligibility screening, intake, and needs assessments for HiRE students.
• Develop and update IDPs supporting employment goals.
• Monitor participant progress and adjust strategies to meet outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation of services.
• Deliver employment readiness coaching, resume help, and interview preparation.
• Coordinate referrals to outside agencies and build employer partnerships.
• Support employer outreach, hire events, and community-related activities.
• Maintain data entry in Apricot and reporting systems.
• Follow up with participants after placement to promote retention.
