Job summary

No Worker Left Behind is seeking a Career Navigator & Employer Partnerships Specialist to support participants from intake through training, job search, placement, and the initial months of employment. You will also build and nurture relationships with Boston-area employers to connect qualified participants with opportunities.

The role blends career navigation and case management with employer engagement, job development, and program support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in career coaching, counseling, case management, employment services, recruiting, job development, or related field.
• Experience building relationships with employers, recruiters, community orgs, or workforce partners.
• Experience supporting immigrants, English learners, veterans, caregivers, career changers, or adults facing barriers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage participant and employer relationships and deadlines.
• Comfort using technology, including CRMs, spreadsheets, learning platforms, video tools, and emerging AI tools.
• Willingness to travel within Boston for programs, employer meetings, and community events.
• Flexibility to work some Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings during cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants into SkillsClinic and conduct intake and eligibility conversations.
• Create individualized career plans based on goals, skills, experience, and circumstances.
• Check in regularly, monitor progress, and provide additional support as needed.
• Coach résumés, LinkedIn profiles, interviews, salary conversations, job search strategies.
• Help participants navigate barriers by connecting to trusted community resources.
• Maintain connections after placement with 30, 90, and 180-day check-ins.
• Build relationships with Boston-area employers, recruiters, and hiring managers.
• Organize virtual and in-person career events and hiring activities.
• Track employer relationships and outcomes to improve programs.
• Represent NWLB with workforce and community partners in Greater Boston.
• Maintain accurate participant records and contribute to quarterly reports.
