Job summary

FlyingHIGH, Inc. is seeking a full-time Integrated Workforce Job Development Specialist in Ohio (Youngstown) to connect employers with job seekers and lead placement initiatives. You will collaborate with client case managers to assess needs and design effective placement plans for meaningful employment.

The role focuses on developing employer relationships, coaching job seekers, coordinating career plans, hosting recruitment events, and ensuring ongoing communication for successful placements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Business or related field, or demonstrated work experience in the Workforce Development field.
• Valid Ohio Driver's license.
• Clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Post employment civilian background check and substance abuse testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide job development opportunities by building relationships with community employers.
• Offer job seeking skills training, coaching and job placement to consumers.
• Develop and communicate employer pathways with the case management team.
• Design and implement career plans leading to placement with employers.
• Collaborate with employers to host spotlight events to recruit candidates.
• Provide qualified candidates in accordance with employers' job specifications.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employers and candidates to ensure satisfaction.
