Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks a Career Transition Specialist to provide individualized transitional support and placement services to Job Corps students, helping them move into full-time employment in their field after program completion.

You will collaborate with Career Technical Training (CTT), Career Transition and other Center staff to develop personalized transition plans, identify barriers, and connect students with meaningful opportunities with local employers and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Associate's with two years related experience.
Valid in-state driver's license.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect student data.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with young adults from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Provides individualized career counseling, transition support, and placement services.
Supports students in educational, career, and placement goals.
Develops and monitors individualized transition plans.
Identifies and assists students with barriers to employment or education.
Provides guidance on job searching, resumes, interviews, and workplace expectations.
Builds relationships with employers, workforce organizations, and community partners.
