Job summary

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is seeking a Career Services Manager to lead the Career Development Center’s career services, employer relations, and program initiatives for students and alumni. The role oversees technology platforms, events, and assessment measures to advance professional success.

You will provide coaching, manage partnerships with employers, and help design data-driven reports while collaborating with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, human resources, business, communication, education, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in career services, student services, employer relations, recruiting, human resources, workforce development, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide career development services to students and alumni, including programming, resume/cover letter development, interview preparation, and mock interviews.
• Administer the online career management platform, including posting approvals, events, and reporting.
• Manage the Career Closet and Student Interview Suite operations.
• Coordinate career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus/virtual recruitment events.
• Develop outreach to employers and connect them with academic programs and students.
• Create promotional content to share career services information through channels.
• Monitor usage data and assist with annual reports and assessments.
• Assist with training of student staff and participate in university programs.
