290 EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION Ada Center is seeking a Career Coordinator to deliver career assessment, vocational counseling and placement services within a structured case-management framework. The role emphasizes priority service to veterans and other special-needs applicants.

Primary duties include registering customers for employment and unemployment services, processing unemployment claims and maintaining accurate records.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment services, career or vocational guidance and counseling, personnel, recruitment, training, customer services or social services related work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and standard office procedures.
• Experience or familiarity with veterans programs, unemployment insurance, and related laws.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and promote career assessment and vocational counseling via applicant interview and qualification evaluation within a case management system.
• Utilize EmployOklahoma to register customers for employment, unemployment services and education/training services.
• Establish unemployment insurance benefit claims and interpret related state/federal laws for claimants and employers.
• Communicate with management, employers, applicants, claimants and coworkers regarding job orders, referrals and unemployment benefits; prepare clear reports.
• Provide resource room assistance with UI eligibility, UI claims filing, and UI compensation services in a professional, friendly manner.
• Assist with receptionist duties and participate in team meetings; support training and cross-training; maintain safety protocols and on-site presence.
