• Knowledge of career needs, skills, and trends related to students, general career development and job market trends.
• Strong interpersonal skills, counseling skills, presentation skills, and program development skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with referring faculty and administrators.
• Ability to develop rapport with students.
• Ability to serve the career development needs of students with varied experiences and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary career services liaison to assigned colleges or schools at the University of Georgia.
• Provide comprehensive career coaching and programming support for students and alumni.
• Develop industry connections relevant to students’ career interests and foster mentorship opportunities with UGA alumni.
• Collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, and student services staff to integrate career development into the student experience.
