Ncus Tec is seeking an outgoing Career Counselor to assist potential students applying for courses and training at our Toledo facility. You will provide guidance, counsel applicants, and convert inquiries into our database while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, case management, and the ability to work with students, employers, and instructors. Evening/weekend availability may be required to participate in events and outreach.

Qualifications

• Outgoing with strong communication skills.
• Ability to counsel and guide potential applicants.
• Experience in mentoring or advising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students to assess skill level and education/training needs.
• Guide participants through individualized career plans.
• Collaborate with instructors to improve job readiness and employability.
• Assist with resumes, cover letters, and applications.
• Interface with employers to gather feedback and support placement.
• Maintain student records in the data system.
• Promote the school and recruit students at events.
• Other duties as assigned.
