The position requires a Master’s degree in Psychology, Education or related field and at least three years of counseling or student development experience, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Education or related field is required.
• Three years of experience in Career Counseling, Student Personnel Services, Advising/Counseling or Student Development is required.
• Evenings and weekends work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career counseling to diverse students.
• Deliver individual and group instruction on resume prep, interviewing techniques and job search strategies.
• Administer and interpret career assessments.
• Utilize Focus2 and Career Coach in work with students.
• Assist students with career decision-making and major selection.
• Design and deliver career-related workshops and presentations.
• Incorporate social media and technology in career services marketing.
• Develop career and job networking opportunities for students.
• Collaborate on events like career fairs and job fairs.
• Stay current on career services trends and labor market information.
