Job summary

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is seeking a proactive caseworker to assist community members with computer, job, resume, and interview skills. You will help clients create resumes, maintain contact, follow up after placement, and document progress, while conducting classes to upskill participants and share job leads.

This role also involves building partnerships with local businesses, delivering outreach, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Two years’ work experience in a related role or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists community members with computer, job, resume and interview skills.
• Helps clients create resumes and maintains regular contact with clients.
• Performs post-placement follow-ups and documents progress in case notes.
• Conducts classes to upskill clients and provides job leads.
• Educates employers about services and coordinates on-site job coaching.
