Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Career Advisor in Lincoln, NE to build strong client relationships, provide individualized coaching, and guide participants through career pathways. You will conduct orientations, manage case notes, and support long-term employment goals within funded programs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in career advisement or related fields, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, case management, or similar role assisting individuals.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social services, communications and/or 2 yrs relevant experience in human service, people helping, customer service-related fields
• Proficient with MS Office and ability to manage documentation and reports

Responsibilities

• Build a professional one-on-one working relationship with clients to aid in eliminating challenges to employment, including assessment, coordination, career coaching, and development of individualized plans.
• Provide consistent case management and follow-up to support job retention, career progression, and long-term employment goals.
• Conduct new customer orientation introducing career pathways, in-demand industries, and employment goals.
• Facilitate professional development workshops focused on job readiness, career exploration, advancement strategies, and high-demand occupations.
• Document all participant contacts and activities and track progression and outcomes.
