Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in educational support, counseling, mentoring, or related fields; or two years in recruitment/training with 1:1 interaction.
• Experience with public speaking.
• Ability to learn and translate extensive career information, policies and procedures.
• Strong organization, time management, and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and self-manage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-1 coaching sessions with undergraduate students.
• Deliver classroom and student organization presentations.
• Teach an elective career development/experiential learning course.
• Help students articulate skills in resumes, cover letters, and interviews; assist with networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers and alumni; collaborate with advisors, faculty, and Career Services.
