Job summary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is hiring a Career and Student Experience Specialist in Lincoln, NE. This role coordinates experiential learning opportunities and provides career development support to help students obtain internships, employment, graduate study, and professional practice.

You will build relationships with employers, alumni, and partners, collaborate across campus to connect students with resources, and track outcomes to inform program improvements aligned with college

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience working with students in an educational support, counseling, or advising role.
• Demonstrated organization, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with public speaking and coordinating programs for multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate state, national, and international experiential learning opportunities (internships, experiences, travel).
• Provide career development support for internships, employment, graduate study, and professional practice.
• Develop relationships with employers, alumni, and external partners to expand opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty, UNL Global Affairs, and College partners to connect students with resources.
• Track and communicate learning activities and outcomes to support program improvements.
