Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of experience working with high school or college students in an educational support, counseling, social work, achievement, advising, mentoring or related role. Master’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for experience. Demonstrated organization, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Experience with public speaking. Experience working collaboratively with and coordinating programs, projects, or events for multiple stakeholders. Ability to learn and translate extensive career information, policies, and procedures. Ability to both collaborate and self-manage.
The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Knowledge of career pathways and professional practices within fine and performing arts or other creative disciplines. Experience developing or coordinating internships, experiential learning, career development, or other educational/professional activities, domestically or internationally. Experience building relationships with employers, alumni, community organizations, or other external partners. Experience working in higher education.
