UC San Diego PROS program seeks a Career Coach to support adults impacted by the criminal justice system with job search planning, resume development, interview coaching, and market research. The role emphasizes one-on-one counseling, data tracking, and collaboration with community partners to facilitate successful employment outcomes.

The position may offer remote work options and requires strong interpersonal skills, experience in career development, and knowledge of the San Diego labor

Formación

• Eight years of related experience, or a Masters degree plus two years of relevant career advising experience.
• Strong experience providing one-on-one individualized career counseling and guidance.
• Experience coaching on resumes, job search goals, and strategies for adults impacted by the justice system.
• Ability to build rapport and monitor client progress from intake to job acceptance.
• Knowledge of diverse labor markets and local employment opportunities in San Diego.
• Proficiency using technology to support employment activities and online interviews.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one career counseling and career planning.
• Develop individualized job search strategies and action plans.
• Assist clients with resume writing, interview skills, and job search coaching.
• Track client progress and maintain detailed records of outcomes.
• Lead workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and job search techniques.
• Collaborate with PROS staff and employers to support client employment goals.
