Job summary

Skills of Central PA, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Job Coach/Employment Training Professional in Altoona to support clients in Blair, Bedford, and Cambria Counties.

You will provide work-based learning experiences and one-on-one/group supports, using person-centered practices to help participants obtain and retain community employment. The role involves coordinating with referrals, delivering training, and meeting documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Business and 1 year related experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid PA Driver’s License
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Meets with referrals and their team to provide program and employment information and options.
• Coordinates and participates in the development of plans for employment.
• Implements plans for employment and provides services to achieve community-based employment.
• Provides training and one-on-one support to program participants after employment is achieved.
• Completes required paperwork and reports for internal and external audiences.
