Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: 6 months in service oriented environment, ideally in a job development capacity.
• Skills: above average interpersonal, verbal and written communications; basic math; proficiency in using office equipment.
• Ability: organize tasks, record and produce accurate work; periodic travel to various intrastate sites; valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Connect people with opportunities by understanding their strengths and goals and helping create employment plans.
• Match skills to community career opportunities and build relationships with employers to show the value of the right employee.
• Work with employers to identify training needs and support individuals in gaining required knowledge and skills.
• Develop natural supports that enable independence and long-term success on and off the job.
• Complete accurate documentation for services and billing, including plans and analyses.
• Follow program rules, contracts and regulatory requirements while staying current on best practices.
• Celebrate growth and independence as individuals reach their maximum potential.
