Home of Hope in Oklahoma seeks a Vocational Specialist to build employment opportunities for clients, coordinate services, and help clients obtain social services.

You will match client skills to jobs, partner with employers, arrange training and supports, complete billing documents, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations. This role requires a high school diploma, 6 months of service experience, and the ability to travel intrastate.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: 6 months in service oriented environment, ideally in a job development capacity.
• Skills: strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication; basic math; proficiency with office equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Review, determine and coordinate or provide necessary services for client so that social/vocational integration occurs.
• Develop client specific jobs by matching client skills to career paths; recruit employers.
• Assist employers with training issues to ensure client receives appropriate job knowledge and skills training; arrange adaptive devices or mentoring as needed.
• Develop and utilize natural supports on and off the job; facilitate transportation or other references to support client socialization.
• Complete all documentation to support billing; formulate job success plans, conduct assessments, perform benefits and disciplinary analyses.
• Interpret and implement existing contracts and performance requirements; stay current with regulatory developments and trends.
• Assist client in achieving maximum potential and self-determination.
