Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, business administration, or equivalent.
• Experience in workforce development or case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to identify job seekers' work history, skills, goals, and barriers.
• Assist individuals with resume and cover letter writing, online job searches, and interview preparation.
• Conduct mock interviews and job readiness workshops on soft skills and workplace communication.
• Build relationships with local businesses, second-chance employers, and staffing agencies.
• Attend job fairs to stay current on regional workforce needs and hiring trends.
• Advocate for individuals by matching skills with job openings.
• Collaborate with housing navigators, mental health staff, and other shelter staff.
• Maintain confidential client records and track employment outcomes for grants.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and check-ins during early employment.
