Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in business, human services, workforce development, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Google Hangout, Zoom)

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Michigan Works! service center and provide excellent customer service
• Educate customers on Michigan Works! services and unemployment benefits
• Refer customers to Michigan Works! programs and local resources
• Provide administrative support to the talent team and maintain confidentiality
