Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Career Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Career Services, the Career Advisor’s main purpose is to help prepare and support students and alumni in achieving their educational, professional and career goals. This includes providing career advising and education on topics such as, but not limited to, career exploration and/or major exploration, career planning, job and internship search, application material review (resumes, cover letters, etc.), grad school search and planning, and interview skills.
In addition to providing 1:1 advising, the position will also support the facilitation of career events as well as presentations and workshops for classrooms and programs. Other duties as assigned.
