Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Nursing Assistant to perform patient care procedures under RN supervision. You will monitor vitals, assist with daily living activities, wound care, tubing, and bedside testing, while documenting in the patient chart.

The role supports inpatient units with a focus on safety and compassionate care. Applicants should have BLS at hire and at least 2 years of hospital or long-term care experience; nursing students with basic clinical skills

Qualifications

• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Nursing student who has completed a basic clinical skills lab preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years hospital or long term care experience within related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, collects and records vital signs and patient data in the chart.
• Assists with activities of daily living and records input/output.
• Performs wound care, tube insertions/removals, and bedside testing.
• Operates patient monitoring systems and assists with labs.
• Maintains unit cleanliness and stocks supplies; documents care provided.
