Presbyterian System Services is seeking a Nursing Support role for 12 Hour Nights in Albuquerque, NM. You will perform patient care procedures under the direction of licensed nurses, monitor patients, record vital signs, and assist with daily living activities and feeding.

Qualifications

• BLS required at time of hire.
• Nursing student with basic clinical skills lab preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital or long-term care experience.

Responsabilités

• Monitors, collects and records vital signs and patient data in the chart.
• Transports patients and documents actions in the patient record.
• Assists with feeding and meal setup; records intake and output.
• Assists with activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Inserts/removes gastric and urethral tubes; performs enemas and disimpactions.
• Operates unit patient monitoring systems and bedside tests.
• Performs phlebotomy on units after training.
• Performs wound care and dressing changes; assists with sterile procedures.
• Delivers specimens to laboratories; transports X-rays and supplies.
• Maintains unit cleanliness and stocks supplies; documents care.
