Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living, LLC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Scheduling Assistant who, as a Caregiver/Med Passer, arranges staff coverage for the care team and records absences in scheduling software under the direction of the Care Team Manager.

The role requires excellent organization, problem solving, and customer service skills, plus willingness to be on-call every other weekend to cover shifts and possibly provide resident care or medication passes as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent: required.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Staff scheduling experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and independent work abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for care team and fill shifts to meet staffing requirements.
• Communicate clearly with caregivers and management.
• Recordkeeping for time off requests, attendance and replacements.
• On-call at least every other weekend to cover shifts.
• Provide care to residents or pass medications as directed by Care Team Manager/ALM/BHM or Executive Director.
• Arrange replacements and secure coverage as needed.
