Home Instead in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator to recruit, screen, hire, train, and engage a staff of Care Professionals to provide high-quality service to clients.

The role requires HR experience, knowledge of the senior care industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to train and engage teams. Evening/weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required. This is a fast-growing in-home care franchise opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education or work experience.
• HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the senior care industry.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Available to work evenings or weekends as required.
• Organized, professional, and able to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Reflect the core values of Home Instead franchise.
• Answer employment inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies online and in the community.
• Schedule and conduct applicant interviews efficiently and professionally.
• Perform reference checks, background and motor vehicle checks, and drug screens.
• Create and maintain all employment records (I-9, W-4, etc.).
• Schedule and conduct Care Professional orientation and training.
• Develop engagement strategies to retain Care Professionals.
• Coordinate schedules with the Scheduling Department for high-quality matches.
• Monitor and log client and Care Professional activity in the software system.
• Prepare and publish monthly newsletters.
• Evaluate and update orientation and training materials.
• Plan and execute Care Professional meetings and supervise performance conversations.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal labor and safety laws (EOE, ADA, FMLA, OSHA).
• Maintain regular attendance at the office to fulfill responsibilities.
• Communicate openly with franchise owner, colleagues, Care Professionals, clients, and families.
• Adhere to all company policies and ethics codes.
