Senior Helpers – Charleston is seeking a dependable and organized Care Team Coordinator to oversee caregivers, manage scheduling, and support training and client care in Mount Pleasant, SC. The role requires coordinating caregiver schedules, conducting orientations, and ensuring care plans are followed, with the possibility of stepping in as a caregiver when needed.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and organization skills, with opportunities for training and growth

Qualifications

• Healthcare background preferred (CNA, LPN, nursing, or related field).
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous caregiver training or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee caregiver scheduling, callouts, shift changes, and weekend/on-call coverage.
• Maintain accurate caregiver availability and records in scheduling software.
• Coordinate new caregiver introductions and first client visits.
• Conduct caregiver orientations, skills assessments, and ongoing training.
• Review timesheets and care logs to ensure compliance with care plans.
• Support caregiver recognition and team morale.
• Work closely with the care team to resolve staffing and client-care concerns.
• MUST work as a CAREGIVER if needed.
