Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff/ancillary staff in transferring patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
• Educate and train new staff on Care Team Associate duties.
• Perform duties as delegated by nursing staff and unit management in routine and emergent situations.
• Enter information accurately and promptly in the bed-management system.
• Transport patients to tests, transfers, and discharges by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Handle and maintain medical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and availability.
• Support supply and exchange of medical gases throughout the facility.
• Stock and clean medical carts; assist with routine department duties as needed.
