MU Health Care’s Pediatrics unit at 1021 Hitt St, Columbia, MO is seeking dedicated Care Team Associates for full-time night shifts. This on-site role supports patients 0–21 years, assisting with daily tasks, checks, and prompt responsiveness to needs in a family-centered care model.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in nursing program or CNA completion within required timeframe.
• CNA certification or equivalent credential.
• Direct patient care experience or approved UAP training within recent years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transfers, meals, and daily tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and answer calls promptly.
• Educate and train new staff on Care Team Associate duties.
• Proceed with routine and emergent care tasks as directed by nursing staff.
• Record vitals and blood pressure, and handle specimen transport as needed.
• Enter data accurately into bed-management systems.
