Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri, Inc. is seeking a Care Support staff for LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home in Missouri. You will assist pregnant women and their families with daily routines in a transitional housing setting, maintain cleanliness, answer inquiries, and support basic self-care and postnatal needs.

The role includes weekend and evening shifts. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with insurance are required; prior human services experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Preferred: prior experience in human services.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with daily routines.
• Maintain household cleanliness and monitor supplies.
• Answer phones, take messages, and complete telephone intake assessments.
• Assist with documentation of medicine.
• Ensure residents pass room checks and follow program rules.
• Conduct safety checks throughout the building, including safe sleep environments.
• Prepare rooms for new residents.
• Provide basic self-care support for postpartum residents (e.g., bathroom hygiene, breastfeeding, childcare).
• Facilitate random urine screenings and breathalyzer tests.
• Prepare meals for a larger group when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
