Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Residential Services Support Specialist to provide day-to-day supervision for mothers and their infants in a faith-centered home. You will help residents carry out service plans, support daily living, and escort to appointments.

Responsibilities include conducting house meetings, maintaining safety, documenting case notes, and promoting healthy parenting skills. A compassionate, professional approach aligned with our mission is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in case management or social services.
• Experience with pregnant women or vulnerable populations preferred.
• Willingness to learn trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain professional boundaries with compassion.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and case management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Mandatory reporter training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and oversight of residents and the facility.
• Ensure a safe, clean, nurturing living environment for mothers and children.
• Support residents in daily living, parenting, and infant care skills.
• Conduct house meetings and shift change meetings for continuity of care.
• Model healthy boundaries and agency values in interactions.
• Empower residents to problem-solve and build self-sufficiency.
• Assist with client intakes and orientation to rules and structure.
• Support ISP implementation and reinforce resident goals.
• Complete required documentation and logs as directed.
