Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supports staffing department in assignment and evaluation of home care staff.
• Participates in orientation and in-service processes for staff.
• Ensures safety needs of clients, staff, and public are met and follows infection control policies.
• Communicates with Staffing Manager to resolve environmental or safety issues.
• Notifies appropriate staff of unsafe areas and helps mitigate risks.
• Staffing schedule: assigns Home Care Aides to new positions and relief shifts.
• Sends open shift reports and arranges orientation for new aides.
• Updates Lifespan clients and Care Managers on referral progress and placement.
• Maintains a running log of staffing activity and communicates changes to HCAs.
• Handles holiday scheduling and emergency staffing needs.
