Job summary

The CARE Center, Inc. is hiring multiple part-time Residential Care Staff to support individuals with mental health diagnoses in a residential setting.

Afternoon and overnight shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, with emphasis on crisis support and daily living activities. Responsibilities include implementing individualized support plans, monitoring residents, assisting with meals, hygiene, transportation to appointments, and maintaining accurate records in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 12 college credits or 6 months mental health experience required.
• Must have valid PA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to receive, understand and communicate information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
• Implement individual crisis plans and assist with crisis resolution.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Assist in meal preparation in line with USDA guidelines.
• Schedule and attend psychiatric and medical appointments; communicate with staff.
• Document resident progress and monitor for issues.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain cleanliness.
• Participate in staff training and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and laws.
