Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant work experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Proficiency in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
• Two years of experience working with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Closing the loop of referral processing from receipt to completion.
• Coordinate referrals, appointments and pre-authorizations.
• Verify eligibility, coverage dates, and benefit details for referred services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely status updates to providers and patients.
• Communicate any processing issues promptly to the care team.
• Travel within facility and community as needed.
