Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1, Float to support physician-led teams across our medical centers. This unlicensed role combines administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision to ensure smooth operations.

You will take vital signs, collect histories, assist with exams, process prescriptions, and provide health coaching to a defined patient group. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nationally accredited Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs.
• Record patient interview and medical history.
• Assist physician during exams and prepare patients for exams.
• Explain treatments and physician instructions to patients.
• Process prescriptions with ChenMed Rx under supervision.
• Provide health coaching to defined patient groups.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and safety standards.
