Job summary

ChenMed in Michigan is seeking a Care Promoter 1, Float — an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep our medical centers running smoothly.

You will support physician-led care teams, measure patient vitals, assist with exams, perform basic lab tests, and help with medication administration under supervision; travel to local centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Unlicensed medical professional cross-trained for admin and clinical tasks.
• Must follow physician supervision and state medical practice acts.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.
• Willingness to travel to local centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during exams.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP/Clinician and other staff.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the care team.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens per instructions.
• Administer medications and support first aid under supervision.
• Maintain supplies and ensure safety and compliance with OSH standards.
• Manage patient communications and relay information to physicians.
