Job summary

ChenMed is expanding and seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support clinical and administrative duties under physician supervision. You will help prepare patients, assist with exams, and communicate needs across the care team to ensure smooth center operations.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction, reliable documentation, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and front desk staff. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic program is required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinicians.
• Administer medications under supervision and assist with procedures.
• Manage supplies and maintain OSHA safety standards.
• Process patient calls and relay information to providers.
• Travel locally up to 10% to cover other centers as needed.
