Job summary

ChenMed LLC seeks a Care Promoter 1, Float to support routine administrative and clinical tasks across medical centers in Michigan. You will assist with vital signs, patient prep, phlebotomy, basic labs, and medication-related activities under physician supervision.

The role requires high school diploma and completion of a recognized MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic program, with BLS and 1+ year experience preferred. Evening/weekend availability and travel to centers may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Catalog patient needs and communicate with PCP/Clinician.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Perform routine screening tests and basic waived lab tasks.
• Provide health coaching to defined patient groups.
• Fill prescriptions with physician approval and use ChenMed Rx system as directed.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and sterilize instruments.
• Handle patient phone messages and referrals to team members.
• Travel to local centers as needed.
