Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1, Float in Jacksonville, FL to support physician-led teams. You will perform administrative tasks and basic clinical duties under supervision, helping keep centers running smoothly and delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong communication, compassion, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed, with travel to local centers and proficiency in medical software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR system experience preferred.
• Geriatric patient experience is a plus.
• Able to travel to local centers as needed.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Perform routine screening tests and basic waived lab tests.
• Administer medications and manage dressings and wound care.
• Call in prescriptions with physician authorization.
• Provide health coaching and follow up weekly.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and OSHA safety compliance.
• Communicate patient needs across care teams.
