Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
• Provide empathetic engagement and companionship to residents.
• Document resident status and report changes to supervision.
• Support creating an inclusive and positive environment through engagement with team and community.
