Meridian Senior Living in Staunton, IL, seeks a dedicated Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents in daily activities and wellbeing. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and continence care, while maintaining records and communicating changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and state-required training.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable and respect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, incontinence care).
• Maintain proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
