Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Care Partner to support the care team and enhance the patient experience. You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and comfort measures, and help ensure patient safety and dignity.

In this role you will perform basic clinical tasks as needed, contribute to a compassionate, respectful care environment, and collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to support the plan of care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• BLS certification required at hire or before patient contact.
• Graduate from a State approved CNA or Patient Care Tech program is preferred.
• Direct patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive patient experience by partnering with the nurse and healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Perform basic patient care tasks and monitor vital signs as directed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality; document accurately in EMR.
