Job summary

Rogerson Communities in Jamaica Plain seeks a Care Partner (CNA/HHA/PCA) to provide compassionate resident support and daily living assistance. CPR/First Aid certification is required, along with knowledge or experience with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

This per-diem, non-exempt role offers multiple shifts and a pay rate of $20–$23 per hour, DOE. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to resident well-being within the Wellness Director’s oversight.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of and/or 1 year of experience with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including toileting, bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Administer or supervise medications under Wellness Director supervision.
• Document in resident care records and communicate with care team.
• Attend care planning meetings and contribute to care plan development and evaluation.
• Escort residents to medical appointments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Report changes in resident status to Wellness Director/Clinical Care Coordinator.
• Support Therapeutic Recreation activities and assist with events.
• Be flexible with hours and work as part of a team.
