Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the Tacoma area seeks Care Partners (CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, personalized daily care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living and ensure comfort, safety and dignity while promoting independence and privacy.

You will work in a supportive team environment to nurture residents' well-being. Requirements include at least 12 months of caregiving experience, a valid state CNA or HCA license, and current First Aid/CPR or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and CNA/HCA license per state.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) following safety guidelines.
• Prioritize independence by providing compassionate care, engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and room tidying as needed.
• Foster open communication among residents, families and healthcare staff.
