The Suites - Grants Pass , OR is seeking a Care Partner to support residents in daily living activities and wellness monitoring. The role includes personal care, documentation, companionship, meal assistance, and participation in social activities within a senior living community.

This position offers a stable full-time/part-time schedule with a rotating 4-on/2-off pattern, and a commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care. Employment is with an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• You will need to provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• You will monitor health and document changes and report to Wellness Team.
• You will provide emotional support and companionship.
• You will assist with meals and possibly feed residents.
• You will participate in social activities and engage residents.

Shift is for AM- 5:30am-2pm days are 4 on 2 off rotating schedule.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
