CARE PARTNERS in Rogue River, OR is seeking a Care Partner to assist residents in a senior living setting. The role includes providing personal care, health monitoring, and companionship, with duties that cover meals, activities, and family communication. A background check and English literacy are required.

This position is part-time with a 2pm–10:30pm shift, offering benefits, training, and growth opportunities within the Morrow Heights community.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in elder health or behavior to Wellness Team.
• Give emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and possibly feed residents who require support.
• Engage in social and recreational activities for well-being.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain general cleanliness.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• PM shift 2pm-10:30pm
• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
