Job summary

BrightStar Care of East Los Gatos & South San Jose is seeking a proactive Care Operations Manager to lead daily operations, recruit and retain caregivers, and ensure compliance with CDSS/Home Care regulations. You will partner with leadership to optimize scheduling, manage finances, and maintain exceptional client satisfaction across our community.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Owner and Director of Nursing to oversee field teams, implement training, and drive a culture of empathy

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of leadership or operations management experience.
• Experience scheduling a distributed, multi-tier workforce.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and drive caregiver recruitment and retention.
• Ensure clinical/regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.
• Oversee field care teams, optimize scheduling, and manage administrative workflows.
• Foster empathy, accountability, and excellence in the team.
• Regulatory compliance with CDSS Home Care Services, HIPAA, Cal/OSHA, Joint Commission.
