Job summary

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking an Operations Analytics Manager for care management and transitions of care. You will lead non-clinical operations, manage staff and deliver dashboards, QA reports and data analyses to guide improvements across departments.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with project management skills and 5+ years in care management analytics, plus experience with Tableau and clinical data capture improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with project management skills and ability to work independently.
• At least 5 years of experience in Care Management/Transitions of Care operations or analytics.
• 1–2 years of experience with grants.
• Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Superior organization skills, detail oriented, persistent and follow-through.
• Experience with health care quality reporting and interpreting regulatory requirements.
• Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages non-clinical operations and services including staffing and project management.
• Prepares reports to identify training opportunities for staff.
• Identifies workflow deficiencies using data assessment.
• Produces QA reports for Care Management leadership.
• Supports data needs for strategic initiatives to improve performance.
• Develops data collection methods using Excel, Access, Crystal Reporting, Cerner DA2, Vizient, Tableau.
• Lead data analysis to improve transitions of care and discharge planning.
