Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a Senior Director of Operations for the Care Network. This leadership role reports to the AVP of Operations and drives site operations across multiple CHOP sites, coordinating administrative and clinical functions to optimize performance.

The role demands holistic strategic thinking, strong financial stewardship, and the ability to lead change while collaborating with senior leaders across Marketing, HR, Finance, and Revenue Cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or similar field of study required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or similar field of study preferred.
• At least eight years of management experience in a healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational performance and achievement of annual goals for operations, finance, quality and safety, patient satisfaction and employee engagement of the assigned sites across the Care Network.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to establish and maintain clinical and operational standards; analyze policies, systems, procedures and space utilization and recommend innovative changes.
• Lead with strategic thinking to develop, implement, and measure initiatives, processes and new care delivery models that enhance value and quality of care.
• Represent the Care Network as the face of the network, ensuring alignment and productive relationships with sites, CHOP system, and external partners.
