Job summary

Your Health Organization seeks a Clinical Scheduler to fill our Care Manager role and assist with all clinical scheduling needs for our West Columbia patients. The role serves as the central scheduling and operational coordinator for a single interdisciplinary care team, ensuring proper in-person encounters under the value-based care model.

This full-time, salary-based 8-hour position (8:00AM-5:00PM) Monday-Friday works in the West Columbia office daily and uses multiple software systems to

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational abilities and communicate clearly.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling or administrative roles preferred.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify and schedule patients according to the care model.
• Track new patients and ensure follow-up until scheduled.
• Schedule appointments based on clinical urgency and patient preferences.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to optimize schedules.
• Document scheduling activities thoroughly and maintain records.
