Job summary

Monarch Communities in Connecticut seeks a dedicated Caregiver to support residents on the 2nd shift (2:30p-10:30p). This full-time or part-time, non-exempt hourly position reports to the Health & Wellness Director and offers competitive pay and benefits.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, adhere to care plans, and maintain a compassionate, respectful environment. CNA/CHHA certification is required, with dementia experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or CHHA certification required.
• Experience with elderly residents; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, dressed, safe and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided during your shift.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly.
